Overview
Problem
Daily design and engineering tasks require frequent image conversions across formats like WebP, PNG, and ICO. Most users rely on third-party online converters that compromise privacy, enforce strict file size caps, queue conversions slowly, and clutter screens with deceptive advertisements.
Solution
Engineered an open-source, local-first Windows application capable of instant single and batch image conversions without touching the cloud. The tool supports seamless conversion across JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP, GIF, TIFF, and multi-size Windows icon packages (16, 32, 48, 256 px) with automated directory handling and low resource overhead.
